- Auto Rasso (Car Meets): The gap between digital car spotting and real-world automotive events is officially bridged. You can now discover "rassos" (car meetups) happening near your location directly within the app. Join events to let others know you're attending, see who else from the community will be there, and effortlessly share event details with your friends.
- Messaging (Beta): We are thrilled to introduce built-in messaging! Connect with the community like never before. You can now chat privately one-on-one or create group chats with other spotters to discuss your latest finds. Easily share your best spots directly inside your conversations. Plus, this feature gives you a direct, fast line to reach the Wheeloh Support team for feedback and assistance.
- Story Sharing: Show off your incredible spots with style. With just a single tap, you can now generate a beautifully formatted, polished image from your posts, perfectly optimized for Instagram Stories. It's the ultimate way to showcase your virtual garage and rare automotive finds to your broader social media following.
Progress & Discovery
- Quests & Achievements: Turn your daily car spotting into an engaging adventure. Take on dynamic challenges, maintain your daily posting streak, and unlock exclusive achievements. This brand-new progression system adds a fun, gamified layer to your journey and rewards your dedication to the Wheeloh community.
- Improved Search & Car Assistant: Finding exactly what you're looking for is now lightning fast and more powerful. We've introduced advanced filters to help you narrow down your searches with precision. Car meets (Rassos) now appear directly in your search results. Additionally, we've integrated a built-in smart car assistant to help you identify vehicles and learn more about specific models.
- Community Map: Ever wonder where the best spotting locations are? Your garage map now features a brand new "Community map" layer. This heat map highlights the most active spotting areas around you, helping you discover new hunting grounds and see exactly where the local car scene is thriving.
App Experience & Polish
- English Language Support: Wheeloh is going global! You can now explicitly choose between French and English in the app settings, or simply let Wheeloh automatically adapt to your phone's default language. This makes the platform accessible to a much wider audience of international car enthusiasts.
- Post Location Improvements: Accuracy matters. We have refined our location services so you can more easily find and pinpoint exactly where a specific photo was taken, improving the accuracy of your spotting map and helping others discover iconic locations.
- Smoother Performance: We've thoroughly optimized the engine under the hood. You will experience significantly faster app startup times, a much smoother photo publishing flow, and rapid gallery synchronization.
